celebrating a pet-centric way of life!
I met my first greyhound when I was 8 years old, attending the first ever Vancouver SPCA summer kids camp, where they entertained us by bringing in a different kind of animal rescue group each day. We saw parrots and reptiles and all sorts of creatures, but for me, all I could remember was a tall fawn greyhound called Honey who was a retired racer. After the recent success of a three year campaign to get my first pet rabbit, (Jinger, first of many) I began a new operation to convince my parents we needed to adopt a greyhound of our own. Another three years later and we adopted Chattanooga, or Nooga for short, from a track in Idaho.
